Type "education 3.0" into Google and you get 37,000+ results. Just what is education 3.0, and why should you care about it? The term has come to be used by some educational reformers and/or visionaries to refer to a new approach to education that is significantly different not only from "traditional" education but also from the what many current "cutting edge" educators practice.
In a presentation given at the TICAL conference in Little Rock in February 2011 and at the ISTE conference in Philadelphia in June 2011, attendees were introduced to four perspectives on Education 3.0.
